Keeping your data and operations running is our top priority. Fleet Management Solutions, Inc. (FMS) has invested in building a robust technology infrastructure and Data Technology practice that your institution can rely on. We have taken various steps to meet stringent current day security requirements and continue to develop strategies that will ensure continuous future success.
Technology Infrastructure
Partnering with Amazon Web Services (AWS), our infrastructure leverages AWS EC2/S3 platforms to provide computing resources and data hosting. AWS maintains world leading security policies that include:
- A layered data center security model including custom-designed electronic access cards, alarms, laser beam intrusion detection, biometrics and patrolling security guards.
- Independent audit testing for data security, safety, privacy and security.
AWS is certified for a growing number of compliance standards and controls. For more information on standards and controls, please visit AWS Compliance Programs.
Data Technology Practice
The primary objective in the deployment of our Data Technology practice is to protect our customer’s digital content and prevent access or compromises. All Fleet Management Solutions, Inc. servers are monitored 24 hours a day, 365 days a year by fully redundant monitoring systems and internal engineering staff.
All software updates and patches are tested within a contained environment, and then pushed to each server on a strategically designed cycle to ensure that our platform services are running the latest, most secure patches, programs and applications.
Penetration & Vulnerability
With the rise of cyber attacks for both large corporations and small businesses, the need to protect data and the integrity of information stored under FMS’ systems is critical. For these reasons, FMS, undergoes annual external penetration testing on all its network appliances and applications, through trusted security partners, to ensure the systems remain secure and contained.
No third-party port-scanning, vulnerability testing or penetration testing may be done on any of the FMS services, servers or assets without the express written approval from FMS, Teletrac Navman and its hosting partners.
Business Continuity
We understands that the business platform we provide to your organization is critical to helping you run your day to day success. FMS conducts a regular business impact analysis to understand the relevant threat/risk landscape and prioritize planning which are reviewed on a quarterly basis.
This includes cyber-attack, sabotage, utility/power outrage, terrorism and random failure of mission-critical systems. FMS continually oversee business continuity planning to ensure that critical services can be continually delivered to our clients.
